School for Vegetables
The School for Veg project currently provides drop-in sessions: women-only food growing activities, general volunteer food growing activities, environmental education school site visits, family taster sessions with local playgroups, open days and celebration events.
The community allotment is well resourced with poly tunnels to propagate seeds, different sized planting beds to experiment with culturally diverse crops, established fruit trees/bushes, seating areas, outdoor classroom, pizza oven and kitchen for harvesting/cooking food grown.
